Bowery Ballroom / LAMC report

It was a great night filled with great talent. It started with the loungy tunes of Federico Aubele from Argentina. Very smooth and elegant performance. A new great artist: Niña Dioz from Spain. Upbeat hip hop flow with amazing lyrics. Then one of the best performance of the night… BOMBA STEREO from Colombia. Fresh, sexy and a great mix of electronic and colombian roots sound. The band RH+ passed by with not major impact on the crowd. Nice musicians but no connection with the crowd. And then… Ahhhhh the amazing Natalia Lafourcade who seems very happy with her new cd release. The performance just great with piano, hybrid drums and xilophones and bells.
I was spinning between sets the whole night showcasing some new tracks and remixes too.
As always, it was a pleasure to be part of the LAMC and seeing friends, musicians and meeting new people.
